Matt leads his firm’s efforts as they relate to Building Information Modeling (BIM), drawing extraction and production, parametric modeling, and manipulation of complex geometry. After five years of serving as a project engineer at a prominent consulting structural engineering firm where he was responsible for the design of structural systems and drawing production, he made the choice to dedicate his career to the subject of BIM and many of its related and supporting fields. Matt serves as BIM Manager and oversees all aspects of his firm’s drawing production, training of engineering staff on the Autodesk Revit software platform, and maintaining system standards and ongoing support. He not only manages BIM technologies, but he also creates design models as needed, and works closely with architects to ensure safe, economical adaptations of the design concept. He actively researches new software and explores and implements cutting-edge technology that is currently or will soon benefit our clients.
